Broker Profile rebrands to Capital Access Group
Broker Profile has rebranded to Capital Access Group following its purchase by the Porta-backed company in July this year.
The business will continue to be led by Capital Access Group founders Richard Feigen and Kevin Lapwood, working alongside Broker Profile MD Simon Courtenay (pictured). The rebranded business will focus on providing investor comms advice to clients, with a view to "broadening its capabilities". The company expects to announce more on these initiatives before the end of the year.
In July, Porta Communications bought a 29.5% stake in Capital Access Group, a holding company that acquired the entire issued share capital of consultancy Broker Profile. The acquisition was a non-cash transaction, but will see Porta provide Capital Access with certain office services for the next three and a half years and will guarantee a maximum of £2m of debt.
Feigen, chief executive of Capital Access Group, said: “I am delighted to be launching our new name and branding as Capital Access Group. Since acquiring the Broker Profile business in the summer, we have been impressed by the calibre of the people and the strength of the services that they offer to clients. We are building on these foundations and we are focussed on growing the scale of the company by widening the potential services we can offer and improving further the quality of the advice that we give to our clients."
